GENERAL DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
A Lifetrack Employment Specialist may provide client recruitment, case management, job search assistance, job placement assistance, job development, job training, employment coaching, job retention, small group facilitation, referrals to community resources, and employment support. Populations may include individuals with a disability, immigrants and refugees, low income individuals, and young adults with obstacles to employment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities
Provide recruitment, enrollment, job placement assistance, and post placement follow-up.
Achieve or exceed job placement goals.
Provide services that may include job search, training, small group facilitation, and work experience.
Actively work to recruit new employers for continued and future employment opportunities.
Build positive rapport with community partners to develop partnerships for continued and future opportunities.
Utilize placement data to ensure candidates are connected to a mix of opportunities, industries and employers.
Maintain compliance on reporting, case noting, and paperwork/file completion
Distribute support services, including documentation of support services distributed
Work cooperatively across Lifetrack programs and within the EEO team
Understand and comply with laws, rules and regulations
Assist in seeking opportunities for expansion of services, funding and capacity
Participate in activities as appropriate within Lifetrack and on behalf of Lifetrack
Perform other tasks as needed to accomplish Lifetrack and program objectives
Participate in Placement Team meetings to share job leads and industry knowledge with EEO team
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Prefer Bachelors Degree in a field representative of the position
Experience: 1-2 years of assisting others in job seeking and employment counseling. Experience working with individuals experiencing obstacles to employment.
Other: High level of confidentiality. An understanding of the data input that is required and accuracy. Time management skills. Patience and understanding of barriers that may be presented.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
