DUTIES PERFORMED / AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Present and Sell Company Services & Products
Ability to sell gutters and roofing services.
Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations on gutters and roofing services.
Preparations of all bid paperwork to establish quote for customers, which may require measuring, calculating and estimating.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
Maintain Current Product Knowledge:
Participate in dynamic sales program training provided by the company to enhance your knowledge on gutters and roofing products.
Attend weekly company meetings to gain knowledge and experience and set goals and expectations.
Marketing/Networking Events Participation:
Participate in marketing events such as tradeshow and telemarketing functions on behalf of the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
Attend local home builder associations networking events as needed.
Other Duties as Assigned
Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
Education/Knowledge:
High school diploma or GED.
Construction industry knowledge desired, especially in gutters and roofing products and services.
Experience:
1
years sales experience in the construction industry.
Equivalent education, training and/or related work experience.
Manual Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and influence others.
Computer skills for developing, displaying presentations and scheduling.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Supervision Received:
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales/Chief Operating Officer (located in Baldwin, WI) who sets goals, objectives, and strategies for job completion. As position is outside sales orientated, supervision would come through telephone communication, attendance/work at meetings and through written communication.
Cash Responsibility:
Responsibility for timely and accurate management and reporting of expenses related to work assignments.
Collections of payments are to be promptly provided to the Accounting Department to ensure proper record keeping and timely A/R action.
Confidentiality:
The responsibility for the safeguarding and non-disclosure of all proprietary information. Any information that is pertinent to personal work aspects such as salaries, promotions, etc., is confidential and individually proprietary.
Contacts:
Responsibility is primarily customers and suppliers. It is your use of tact and judgment that is helpful when working with these individuals both directly and indirectly in the field by way of giving professional advice/guidance which is a normal requirement for this position.
Job Pressure/Pace:
Requires a tremendous amount of personal energy, people contact, and management skills, so pressures exist.
Ability to manage a large number of items in an effective manner is absolutely critical as is a large amount and frequency of travel on a consistent basis.
Time Spent Sitting/Standing/Driving for Work Conditions:
Extensive travel (90%) is involved by automobile in visiting the various job sites/customers/suppliers within the region. A valid driver's license is required with a good driving record.
Varies between sitting and standing depending on schedule.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
