Doherty Staffing Solutions in partnership with our client company in Dodge Center, is currently interviewing for a Welder.

SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a Welder, to work nights or weekends in their Dodge Center location. The pay range is $15-$17 hourly. A Production Welder spot welds, wire feed MIG welds, or TIG welds a variety of parts on light and heavy gauge metal (variety of material; eg. Mild steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.), requiring all-position welding. Handles and positions work with or without use of fixtures.

Welder Responsibilities
The Welder position is responsible for:
Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding or utilizes existing jigs and fixtures
Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment
Inspects work to verify dimensions and completes SPS sheets
Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling

Welder Requirements
The following are required for the Welder role:
Regular and predictable attendance
Scheduled overtime as required
Read blueprints with welding symbols
Apply concepts of basic math, algebra, and geometry
Lift 25lbs regularly; up to 75lbs occasionally

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
