GDC is currently seeking out 2-3 mid to senior level Business Analysts for a career opportunity in South Eastern MN area. The primary focus of JD Edwards Business Analysts will be to work with business segment process owners, outside consultants, vendors, and internal IT staff to design, implement and support integrated business solutions relating to JD Edwards, all within an enterprise level global organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with business users, developers and technical analysts to gather, refine and document business requirements
Responsible for configuring systems, where needed, to accommodate changes related to support, projects or enhancement activities
Work with developers to resolve complex issues involving functional modifications, enhancements, maintenance and support of the various systems
Lead and /or partner with business users to document test scenarios and scripts to ensure the solution meets requirements without impacting existing functionality
Support developers in unit testing, independently execute integrated testing and engage business users in acceptance testing
Lead assigned support
events
to resolution and assist developer in debugging applications
Partner with business users to identify improvement opportunities and implement common business practices across business segments
Support the Shared Services strategy by collaborating with global IT teams to ensure enterprise solutions meet project deliverables
Actively participate in meetings by sharing common problems and solutions across functional areas, provide user request updates and confirm priorities of upcoming work
Utilize SQL to assist with application and data analysis
Support, promote and follow company Project Methodology and SDLC Standard

Requirements:
Associate's degree and 8-plus years of experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 3-plus years of experience
AND
Extensive experience with JD Edwards (EnterpriseOne 8.10 or higher)
Experience supporting SmarTeam, SolidWorks, Kronos, ShowCase Query, SalesLogix, Truck Builder, Varsity Logistics
Experience with basic SQL commands
Previous experience in process requirements gathering and business process re-engineering
Previous experience documenting and managing functional requirements
Experience with MS Office Applications, such as: Excel, Word, Visio, Project
Strong analytical and communications skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Deliver tasks on time and with high quality

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
