This position would report to our Admin Manager.
A person who would do well in this position would have a passion and drive for quality, organization, collaboration, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Make sure Counterpoint (POS) and ArborGold (Landscape software) inventories match in quantity, cost and price.
Participate in the cost/pricing process for inventory and monitor for accuracy.
Manage the receiving process, ensuring that each receiver is in our system within 24 hours of physically receiving the product.
Work with all departments to keep inventory accurate.
Assist Garden Center Managers with Counterpoint-driven pull lists to keep benches stocked.
Assist Greenhouse Production Manager with entering inventory into Counterpoint as plants are getting assembled in our greenhouses.
Manage special order deliveries for landscape.
Ensure that landscape purchase orders are delivered to our site and received on time.
Assist Landscape Manager with hardgoods (such as brick/block) ordering and inventory for landscape jobs.
Assist Landscape Manager with preparation of products (pull list) for landscape jobs.
This is not a desk-only job.
Work hands-on with the inventory doing counts, organization of products and stocking.
Be part of the All-Hands effort when there is peak demand in other departments of the company (snow, retail, production, etc.
).
Backup assistance for answering phone calls and other office tasks as necessary.
Pay range:
This is a full-time hourly position with a wage range between $23 and $28 per hour.
