From greeting our great customers in the Service Lane to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.
We welcome individuals new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry, or hospitality.
Role and
Responsibilities:
As a Service Advisor, you will be the bridge between our customers and our team of skilled technicians.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle-related concerns.
Conducting initial vehicle assessments and gathering information about issues or maintenance needs.
Providing accurate and transparent explanations of recommended repairs and services, using clear and concise language.
Collaborating with the service and repair team to ensure timely completion of work.
Creating and explaining detailed repair estimates, including parts and labor costs.
Assisting customers in scheduling appointments and ensuring smooth service processes.
Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles and any changes to estimates or timelines.
Building strong customer relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
Explaining warranty coverage and additional service options to customers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive or mechanical setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical information in a simple and understandable manner.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills for maintaining records and generating estimates.
Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
