Job Description:
Inventory Management Specialist We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's seamless operations by efficiently managing our supply levels.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire supply chain, including procurement, receiving, and storage of both stock and non-stock supplies.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and equipment to support operational needs.
- Regularly monitor inventory status and implement timely rotation of supplies to uphold freshness and usability.
- Effectively handle back orders, proactively communicating and coordinating with vendors to ensure prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and relevant MCHS-FH departments to facilitate the introduction of new products, ensuring a smooth purchasing process.
- Generate requisitions for both stock and non-stock supplies using PSRO Reports, streamlining the procurement workflow.
- Uphold the accuracy of PAR (Periodic Automatic Replenishment) levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Assist in the efficient processing of items slated for return, ensuring proper credit is obtained.
- Verify the correctness of Unit of Measure for all inventory items.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in working with computers and various operating systems is desirable.
- Adeptness in managing inventory, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, particularly in liaising with vendors and internal departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
