The Inventory Control and Distribution Specialist will play a crucial role in fulfilling the company's material handling and product fulfillment practices.
Key activities include managing and tracking inventory flow, coordinating well as kitting and shipping the company's products to customers.
This person will specialize in the RGA/RMA process Your responsibilities will include:
o Fulfill obligations specified in the organization's SOPs related to material and product handling.
o Monitor and replenish component stock and packaging materials as needed.
o Perform acceptance/inspection procedures on supplied critical components, register parts into the inventory management system, and move accepted components into the inventory tracking system.
o File rejected material reports on non-conforming components and work with the Operations Team to identify and resolve quality issues.
o Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams, including personnel from Development, IT, Purchasing, Sales and Operations.
o Work closely with vendors and customers to document and resolve problems.
o Provide information and support customer service operations related to inventory inquiries and hardware fulfillment requests.
o Conduct or supervise audits of facility inventory on a scheduled basis.
o Configure and assemble kits from component inventory according to detailed instructions and associated log kit components in the inventory management system.
o Package product and prepare all shipment documents.
o Coordinate the shipment of products using external shipping resources and oversee the shipping process to the customer's door.
o Manage and report on returned goods processes.
o Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
o Follow company policies and procedures.
o Process returns from customs and trouble-shoot the returns.
o Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Required
Qualifications:
o 2 years with high school diploma/degree/equivalent o Sitting for extended periods of time will be required o Use of hands repetitively to type, handle, and operate standard office equipment will be required o Employee will work under typical office conditions o All employees must pass drug test, and must have valid proof of eligibility to work in the USA Preferred
Qualifications:
o Associates degree preferred o Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management type of position o Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Requisition ID:
