Kids on the GO Van Drivers perform the following duties:
Pick up and drop off children with special needs and physical disabilities at scheduled locations following strict time schedules Display courteous and helpful customer service at all times Practice defensive driving skills at all times Follow safety rules as individuals board and exit the vehicle Comply with all state traffic laws, rules and regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner Complete pre-trip inspections on a daily basis Comply with the company's COVID-19 Preparedness Plan, including a Mandatory Vaccine Policy Operate a hand-held device to obtain schedule, perform rides and communicate with the dispatch center Maintain quality service expectations set forth by the company File communication reports as needed Ensure that the students are delivered hand-to-hand to the responsible person Work Schedule:
You can work both shifts or just a morning/afternoon shift.

The best qualified applicants will have the following:
High school diploma or GED Be 23-years-old or older (Insurance Requirement) Must have own transportation to and from report location Strong verbal communication skills and a positive outgoing demeanor Be a patient and caring individual Experience working with individuals with special needs (1 year preferred) Experience working with technology and software programs, such as a Samsung tablet Regular punctuality and attendance is required Valid Minnesota Driver's License with minimal moving violations within the last 3 years Ability to pass a criminal and driving record check Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT medical exam Have a good knowledge of the city of Rochester's layout Ability to sit and drive a commercial motor vehicle for up to 3
hours per day Willing to be trained in Type III regulations annually, car seats, booster seats, and seat belt locks.
