Job Summary This position will provide professional level Human Resources Services to MnDOT District Six management and supervisors to ensure that all employment laws, rules, regulations and collective bargaining agreements are upheld.
They will serve as a resource in the areas of contract administration, staffing/recruitment, selection, classification, and compensation.
The employee may be eligible to telework on a part-time (hybrid) basis.
The employee will be required to complete a telework agreement.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications One (1) year of professional level experience in human resources demonstrating all requirements listed below.
OR Two (2) years of paraprofessional/technical experience in human resources demonstrating all requirements listed below:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development or a closely related field substitutes for one (1) year of professional experience.
Experience must demonstrate:
Experience in vacancy filling, selection, staffing and/or recruitment.
Knowledge of human resource laws and human resources policies and procedures.
Experience researching, evaluating, and analyzing information.
Experience preparing and communicating information in writing.
Analytical and problem-solving ability (judgment/decision-making) sufficient to evaluate complex information, research answers to problems and/or concerns and make decisions and/or recommendations within acceptable timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications Previous Government/Public Sector Human Resources experience.
Experience with full life cycle recruitment.
Knowledge of the State's classification and compensation system, policies and procedures.
Experience classifying positions and writing job audits.
Experience with collective bargaining agreements and plans.
Experience utilizing SEMA4 or another ATS/HRIS system.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
