Independent Living (IL) Specialist SEMCIL is seeking a part-time (up to 20 hours a week) Independent Living (IL) Specialist to provide services for people with disabilities served through SEMCILs Rochester office. This individual will provide Independent Living Skills training, assist with wellness and social recreation activities, provide forms assistance, and perform administrative functions for the IL team, in accordance with the philosophy of independent living. Qualified candidates will have an Associates degree, the ability to teach independent living skills to others, excellent verbal and written skills, the ability to problem solve with individualized approaches, and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities.
