Maintenance Mechanic w/welding skills

Repairing plant equipment and installing new equipment;
Performing building maintenance;
Using a large variety of hand tools, power tools, welders and cutting equipment;
Installing sanitary and non-sanitary welded and threaded piping;
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, low voltage DC and 120, 240, and 480 volt AC power based Maintenance Electrician guidelines;
Repairing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, working with ammonia and Freon with proper licensing;
Assisting the boiler mechanic as necessary.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED required; Completion of Building Utilities Maintenance program is highly desired.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5
years in fabrication and mechanical repair;
Welding and sheet metal or fabrication skills;
Knowledge and experience in electrical troubleshooting;
Skilled with hand tools, power tools, drill press, computer applications, etc;
Experience in the Food & Beverage or Pharmaceutical industries;
GMP's Good Manufacturing Practices;
Non-union facility;
Minnesota Boiler license highly desired.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
